A tour of more than 700 m² in the Atelier Richelieu, a private hotel and former printing house bathed in zenithal light on two levels in the heart of the Bourse/Palais Royal district. The space is designed to bring together industrialists and craftsmen, all of whom are united around the architecture of today. A relationship of continuity has been deliberately established between each one thanks to an immersive scenography that will stimulate the imagination, reveal the potential of materials and highlight the excellence of the exhibiting designers.

In 2024, MVRDV architecture studio is responsible for the show’s scenography, underlining the importance of the Rendez-vous de la Matière + fair(e) on the architectural scene.

The space will host architects, designers, craftsmen and industrialists around cycles of conferences, discussions and workshops on current themes to offer you an enriching visit.

For the 10th edition of Rendez-vous de la Matière + fair(e) the format of the fair is redesigned to offer exhibitors and visitors a new intimate experience.

An atypical positioning combining exceptional materials and industrial solutions, thus allowing a synergy of the different networks and a high added value promise for the prescriber visitors.

An exceptional venue

The Atelier Richelieu, a private mansion and former printing house for the magazine “L’illustration”, is providing the Rendez-vous de la Matière + fair(e) with a surface area of over 700sqm in the heart of the Bourse/Palais Royal district.

The location and the architecture of the venue echo the previous editions of the fair, establishing its position among the actors of architecture, design and interior design working on exceptional projects.

The format of the Rendez-vous de la Matière + fair(e) makes it possible to combine an unusual location with the dynamism of a trade fair thanks to an immersive scenography.

MVRDV created modules with geometric and architectural shapes, thus creating a harmonious geography that promotes the discovery of materials and encounters. The immersive scenography will stimulate the imagination, reveal the potential of materials and highlight the excellence of the exhibiting designers.
